What will happen at
Chemung County Pagan Pride Day 2007?

Public Ritual:
Our day will begin with a wondeful Harvest Ceremony at 11 a.m.
This is a public religious service where Pagans and others can celebrate the bounty the Earth has given us,
and
Share our Harvest with others in our community.
The Autumn Equinox is a Pagan's version of Thanksgiving.

Food Drive
: A food drive to share our abundant harvest with others in need and to make a clear statement to those who have misconceptions about Pagans. Our ethics, which call for personal responsibility, individual freedom, and concern for the natural balance in nature, mean that we feel strongly called to actions of social responsibility, which is a common feature among most religions.

Pagan Potluck Picnic
:   Bring a dish to share and your table service, and come Picnic in the Park with the Pagans!

Children's Activities
: A whole lot of fun planned for the kiddies that include facepainting, fun craftsy workshops, a crafts table available for anyone to create artwork, instruments to explore at the Bardic Circle, and possibly other games and storytelling which affirm nature religions.

Workshops
:  Fun, interactive workshops are planned for promoting education and awareness of minority religions.
Click the above Workshops link for more information
.

Other Activitie
s: We have a Bardic Circle available for musicmaking, dancing and storytelling, or whatever your inner Muse desires.  We will also have a Labrynth to walk.  There will be displays of altars and personal collections throughout the site for your perusal, and the information table is available all day to pick up various pamphlets, see the displays, and to purchase snacks or drinks.  We will conclude with a Raffle and Auction right before the closing Ritua
