The three main thrusts of CCIN are
1) To encourage individuals to sponsor poor and sick children from Ozarichi
2) To collect donated goods (toys, medicines, clothes) for transport by lorry
to Ozarichi
3) To get funding for specific projects (such as building and renovating toilets)
We set out below the recently completed and newly begun projects.
During 2001 to 2004 we completed a new-build Toilet Facility at the Main School, a new Dentist Surgery at the Hospital and provided nearly £120,000 of donated aid to Ozarichi via 4 aid lorries.
The following works were commenced during the summer of 2004, with a new and ongoing programme of fundraising and works from October 04 to September 05:
Special needs School
Main School
Hospital
Kindergarden
Non-building specific

MAIN SCHOOL TOILETS
The toilets were completed just before the onset of winter2003, on time and
to budget. The dirty, mixed-sex shed was replaced by a thick, brick girls and
boys toilet block. It is a conventional heated and sanitary toilets/washing
rooms block, for all-year-round use. The project cost a total of £15,000.
Thank you to all who helped to raise money for this. After all the effort and
planning we managed to get it completed just in time!

MORE TOILETS!!!! - At the Special Needs School
The Special Needs School, serving the village, had extremely primitive toilet facilities that need totally upgrading and the blocked drainage needs replacing. In fact, the toilets have been unusable for some years.
The Special Needs School is a combination of ill and orphaned children. Some live a the school permanently in the dorms, while others return each day to relatives. All children are in desperate need of every basic need.
Our Charity is in the process of upgrading this, following careful local consultation, with modern sanitary toilets and heated wash rooms for all year round use. The winters experienced in Belarus are extremely severe. The fact that some of the pupils live at the school throughout the year and even those who are still living at home have to use outside toilets, are the main influencing factors.
