Welcome to our application page. Please read through all these terms and conditions before filling out and sending an application. And we hope that after you read these terms and conditions, you will still want to be a part of C.A.P.A. We feel that it is important for all to understand the way that C.A.P.A. works.

Terms and Conditions for C.A.P.A.

Your Annual fee of $20.00 covers alot of expenses with C.A.P.A. such as:

*Membership paperwork
*Monthly Newsletter
*Seminar Admissions
*Membership Directory

Your annual fee must be renewed on your anniverary date, which will be included in your welcome package. You will also receive a reminder notice in your mail, to make it easier for you to remember your renewal is due.

For each adult membership, your children can become a member for the Junior Class for free. However your child may not be over the age of 16. Any minor that is over the age of 16, may join C.A.P.A. by using the application on this page. Any minors under the age of 17 without a parent submission, may also join by filling out the Parental Consent.

C.A.P.A. is an association only for pet breeders, and pet owners. CAPA will not allow members that are a part of the fur trade. Applicants will be rejected or revolked if they are a pelter, breeder for pelters, pet broker or pet store breeder. All chinchillas sold or given by CAPA members are for indivdual pet homes or pet breeders ONLY.

We are here to educate those who are new to chinchillas, and also to those that aren't so new. We will provide seminars where we will have different subjects to discuss, special speakers, and also shows for our chinchillas. We will also have "Trade Day Seminars" for those who are members, to sell chinchillas, or trade.

Admission of chinchillas for showing at the seminars will be $2.50/per animal. But admission into the seminar is free to all members of C.A.P.A. Since we are a new group the first seminar will be explained in the newsletter, along with the rules and regulations. Please check out the About C.A.P.A. page to learn about the different classes we have for showing chinchillas.

We also provide advertising for our members, which you will receive information about in your welcome package.

We decided to make it a little easier for everyone to be able to sign up for membership with C.A.P.A. All you have to do is print off a copy of the application by clicking here, and then fill it out and send it in along with your $20 annual fee to: C.A.P.A.
