RESOURCES ON MINERAL
Gold is the major mineral resource of Bunawan. Covering 648 hectares, the gold mine in Barangay Consuelo has given rise to forty three(43) small-scale mining firms and PHILSAGA Mining Corporation the number 1 gold producer in asia whose combined extraction in 2001 was 190,193 grams.
RESOURCES ON FORESTRY
A total of 34,206.68 hectares is production forest areas, almost half of which is covered by the Integrated Forest Management Agreement (IFMA) of PICOP Resources Incorporated.
