Stay in Catalonia

Autonomous region situated in the North East of Spain. It consists of four provinces with a population of about 6 million inhabitants.
As it is a small area, the sea and the mountains are quite near and they make beautiful scenary.
Catalonia has got two official languages, Catalan and Spanish, which coexist at the same time. Whereas Catalan is spoken everywhere in villages, towns and small cities, people speak Spanish basically in big cities.
A land rich in culture and healthy gastronomy, much folklore and traditions, lively streets and non-stop parties with a wide range of leisure time.
This is the land of many international famous Catalan artists such as Gaudí, Dalí, Miró, Tàpies... as well as Catalan writers like Àusias March, Salvador Espriu, Mercè Rodoreda, Miquel Martí i Pol, etc.
