Welcome to FISH THAT GOT AWAY (FTGA)...the web page where you can post your wish list of what you're looking for...along with your email address. Hopefully, somebody reading this page will have it, and possibly want to sell it to or trade it with you. AND if you have pieces you would like to see adopted by good loving BF women (and men) then you can post them here as well.

I am still looking for any size Bisque cropped top in acetate to replace the one on which the red wine was spilled. Several posters have been kind enough to offer their help and Christa even offered to send me some stain remover. However, my concern is that the color of the actual bisque acetate will lighten and I am now concerned that I am actually harming the fabric.

I am relatively new to Blue Fish and have fallen in love with the (I think it's) 1999 Asian/Japanese inspired prints. I am interested in anything from that line in a size 1. I want to thank all the nice blue fish ladies who helped me in my search for a 1995 Studio Dress. It was a successful search ending in a caught fish but naturally I would love even more of them!!
But I had another fish wish-not one that got away but one I would like to trade.
I was lucky enough to get a bluestone hemp yard coat (size 1) from Fall 99 with lovely oriental designs. I would love to trade it for the same coat in black. Mine is in perfect condition, neverworn and new with tags. I'm hoping that someone out there likes blue more than black!!

As I sit with my atlantis (blue) Hydra Pants on, reading this page, I long for the same in ebony (black). I need a size one. These great flowing, funky pants were in the Summer 97 catalog. They have buttons up the side and a loop to adjust the length. I have the sea urchin (mauve) ones as well, but I missed out on the black ones and I dream of the day I find them. A Blue Fish "messenger" once told me she knew of a woman who bought six pair of these in black. As well as being a bluefishnut, I am a quilter. I recently acquired some beautiful promo cards, and I have decided to transfer them to fabrics and make a quilt. I need a lot more than 12......HELP!!! If anyone is willing to sell any they have, that is best, but I can also print any high quality images that are e-mailed to me. If you help me I promise to post a picture of the progress of the project....I' very excited about this new way to enjoy the art of blue fish. Looking for a long sleeved tee (could actually be short sleeved also) in size 2. Color I believe is called "raven" with candle motif [the exact tee is still up on ebay but in a size 1: 264168951]. The candles on this one has 3 candles in tall holder in like a picture frame in the middle of the chest and rows of the candles and a sort of fleur de lis (how do you spell that anyway??) in between along the bottom.
Also looking for the o/s heavy cotton turtleneck (that # on eBay was 255636402) and it was not the short, cropped style that's up now, but the longer tunic style. It was in dark colors of deep purple with gray mix (but any color would be fine with me!!!). Guess it retailed for over $200, but I don't know when.

I would like a Studio Dress from 1995 (either Fall or Winter). It is a very different long dress with a scooop neck and it has a very dropped waist with three large pockets in the front that you could put a baby kangeroo in. It was the very first blue fish thing I ever wore and now I have it in blue and green - but I still want more!
