Character Spotlight

This months spotlight is on...

DOCTOR DANIEL JACKSON

Why do we like this character?

Because he is so passionate about everything that he does. He always puts others before himself. He stands up for what he believes in. He is the modern, sci-fi, "Indiana Jones". He gets his hands dirty. He is very smart. He can speak the Goa'uld dialect. He can fly (sort of) a Tok'ra cargo ship and a Goa'uld Ha'tak, or mothership. He has gotten heaps better looking as he as matured over the past five years, he has muscles now!! ;) He's not afraid to tell Jack where to stick it, and still be friends with him. He's a romantic (sigh). He's very respectful of other peoples beliefs and ways of life. He's loyal to the end. He's willing to sacrifice his own life for that of strangers. He can use a P-90 now, not just a hand gun. He's witty and always quick off the mark. And he looks damned good in a piece of brown cloth!!

Best Daniel episodes: Crystal Skull, Absolute Power, The First Ones, The Curse & Summit (okay, so the last one wasn't really a Daniel episode, but his role in it was pretty good!)

Best Daniel quote: "Jack, don't be an ass..."

Best Daniel moment: The episode is Tangent. As he, Sam and her father are on their way to rescue Teal'c and Jack, they end up in a "bad part of town". Daniel is told to hail the Goa'uld and try to stall them while they get the hyperdrive back online. He is asked by a booming voice to identify himself, so in the Goa'uld dialect he tells them that he is "The Great And Powerful Oz". His expressions are priceless! You can guess how that went down!
