Great news for all Stargate fans alike! If you don't know by now then you really must have been offworld, but it has been confirmed that there WILL be a seventh season! And for a double dose of good news, Michael Shanks will be returning as a regular cast member! Woohoo! Fantastic news for the thousands of Daniel fans out there. The charming Colonel O'Niell will be returning for the next season, however it has not yet been confirmed if the remaining regulars will be comming along for the ride. All fingers and toes crossed!

Here's some info regarding the final episode of season 6, 'Full Circle'. An anonymous tipster at the GateWorld site left some revealing spoiler details. I'm not sure how true this is or not...but it's very interesting!!

"SG-1 returns to Abydos to defend the planet against Anubis, who is on his way there in search of the fabled 'Eye of Ra'. Skaara and Kasuf will appear in this episode. (Footage of Erick Avari [Kasuf] will be taken from a cut scene that was filmed for the episode 'Absolute Power'. Apparently Avari is unavailable at present to reprise his role.)

The episode opens with Skaara, Kasuf and an Abydonian elder meeting to plan their defense of their world. Forta is an Abydonian freedom fighter. Daniel (Michael Shanks) is aware of the situation and lets O'Neill know, in an amusing scene in an elevator, that Abydos needs help. SG-1 gate to Abydos, coming full circle to once again defend that world against the" Goa'uld.

Skaara seems to have a sizeable part in this story, which is good news for Alexis' many fans. Daniel fans should be pleased as well. It's not clear whether Sam and Teal'c finally get to see their friend (Daniel) again, but O'Neill and Skaara certainly do.

The Eye of Ra, which they have been forewarned that Anubis is after, is mentioned in texts on the walls of the Abydonian pyramid, but Daniel and Skaara are unsure what the Eye actually is or does. Chances are that if Anubis is looking for it, it is a weapon of unimagined power!"
