Quipayo is one of the oldest church in the Bicol Region, Quipayo owes its foundation as a parish to the Franciscan Missionaries who came to the Bicol region in 1578,it included in its jurisdiction the parishes of Libmanan,Calabanga,Bombon and Siruma.

Quipayo is at present a barrio within the civil boundary of the municipality of Calabanga. It remains however, to be an independent parish. In fact one of the oldest in the Archdiocese of Caceres.

Quipayo celebrated its 425th Parish Fiesta , it was highlighted with many activities ;among them is the SK Basketball Tournament, The Civic Parade and the Procession....more..
