Quipayo celebrated its 425th fiesta , its activities were highligthed with colorful events , one is the SK basketball Tournament which trigerred camaraderie and sportsmanship among the youth , the affair was ended succesfully last Dec. 6 with a 3 in one affair, the closing ceremony, the awarding and a night of dances within the youth , it was held at the Quipayo Basketball Open Court, emceed by Anna Sancho and Pompom Nuyles , it was also graced by the Honorable Mayor Ruben B. Medroso and one of its Councilor Marietta Africa.

Other event was the Civic Parade in the morning of Dec. 7 , it was participated in by various Elementary and Secondary Students of the Parish , The Mardi Grass of the Quipayo High School, Drum and Bugle Corps of Quipayo Elementary and High School,The Drum and Bugle Corps of Sta. Cruz Quipayo Elementary School, and also by the Drum and Bugle Corps of the Union Elementary and High School; It was also accompanied with there corresponding beautiful Majorette Groups.

On the evening of Dec. 7 was the procession of Saints and the Immaculate Conception which trooped along the streets of Quipayo from Sta. Cruz up to Pagatpat. It was aided by the most active communication group of Calabanga, The Kabalikat Civicom of Calabanga.

And on the Grand Day of the Affair , an awakening and traditional ways of the Quipayano is 4:00 a.m.activity, The "Dia-na" , in which a group of trumpeeters and Bass Drummers rode in a padyak continously giving noisy music of a rumba beat from Sta. Cruz Puro up to the road of La Purisima, it was seconded none other than the Novenario Mass in Honor of the Immaculate Conception from 6:00 in the morning up to 11:00 , and also the Baptism after the last mass in the morning.
