A rural Parish of Calabanga, Camarines Sur of 16 barangays and 3 sitios mostly dotted at the Mount Isarog along the river and National Highway. Leading occupation are farming, fishing and labor. Social progress calls for the involvement of all walks of life. Programs launched by the government, non-government and religious organizations slanted towards the improvement of community life.

Having in mind the spiritual welfare of the faithful, considering the proximity of the parish, certain barangays belonging to the Parish of Our Lady of Nativity, Calabanga, Camarines Sur, which could be better served, by virtue of Canon 515 par. 3, the Archbishopb of Caceres, Most Rev. Leonardo Z. Legaspi, O.P.,D.D., by the grace of God and favor of the Apostolic See, hereby decree the redefinition of the territorial jurisdiction of the parish of the Immaculate Conception, Quipayo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur, shall be composed of the following barangays and sitios starting June 1996.
