A special thanks to the darts league at the Elburton Pub for their kind donation, definitely scoring a bullseye with us. Thank you also to the Debut team for their work developing our outside play area and starting a donation for the resurfacing of the area beside the Long Barn. Work guaranteed to give us a secure footing for the future. |

Pub Watch
Pub Watch scheme in the City Centre of Plymouth particularly at the Noah's Ark and Student Union Bars where they have been promoting donations to Beckly through collection boxes that have currently raised over £350.

Royal and Ancient Order of Buffalos
Thanks to Tony Betty and the members of the Royal and Ancient Order of Buffalos who raised £2462 as the nominated charity for the orrganisation over the last 12 months from active and varied fund raising events. This donation will be used to support Reaching Out and BINGO social incusion activities.

Collection boxes in pubs
If you are out and about in the city centre then look out for Beckly collecting boxes in pubs linked to the PUB WATCH scheme. Beckly has been nominated as the charity of the year and so far £200 has been collected which as used to wards buying a adult sized tricycle which is proving very popular for encouraging physical activity.
New Cooker
A donation of £500 from the Plym Valley Lions has allowed us to replace upgrade and get fitted a new electric cooker in the kitchen. We now have a new cooker with large double ovens which are self clearing and grills, a fast hob as well as having the cooker circuit upgraded to comply with new regulations This means we will be able to do better and more cooking activities to increase life skills and promote healthy eating. Many thanks to the members of the Plym Valley Lions for all the hardwork collecting this money.

Warrant Officers and Senior Rates Mess
Beckly has just collected a cheque for £1500 from the WO and SR Mess HMS Drake as one of their nominated charities. Monies have been raised throughout last year by raffles, events and other special activities. Everyone at Beckly would like to express their sincere thanks monies will be used to support the social outreach groups.

Outdoor Play Area Completed
Work on the open space next to the Long Barn has been completed by a work party from Moorcroft Quarry at Plymstock. With equipment provided by Speedy Hire workers from Bardon, Amalgamated Aggrigates and their contractors cleared, leveled and tarmac the area to create an ideal space for bikes trikes and sports new gates have been provided by a donation from Devonport Estates, MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED FOR ALL THE HARD WORK FRIARY VAULTS LADIES DART TEAM. The Friary Ladies darts team displayed their skills and accuracy to win the dart's league and elected to donate £300 to the Beckly Centre. Many thanks to everyone for their support and congratulations on winning the league.

Plymouth Motor Cycle Club
Plymouth Motor Cycle Club ran a charity ride out on Sunday 18th May starting at 1pm at Lee Mill after a mass ride through the South Hams ended up at Beckly for a BBQ and Raffle donations for the ride and the raffle raised £528 many thanks to everyone who participated.

Plymstock Club
Plymstock Club Donation Beckly has just collected a cheque for £2066 from the Plymstock Club as one of their nominated charities Monies have been raised throughout last year by raffles, events and other special activities by members of the Plymstock Club Everyone at Beckly would like to express their sincere thanks monies will be used to support the social outreach groups BINGO and Reaching Out activities for the summer school holidays
