Probably the last update for the month.  Hotel work is really killing me.  Even though we got a temp part timer helping us for the summer, she's not enough really; especially when she's new & has no front desk experience.  She made some hard work for me, such as telling guests that they can have late check outs at 4:30pm.  That's not accept when you have very little room to sell for the night & it's close to high season.  But, she's getting better now since I've trained & pushed her a little in understand the front desk operations.

I'm expecting a few parcels coming my way soon.  More anime junk.  I'm excepting 2 Fate/stay night plushes or Saber & Rin, a PVC figure of Hiragi Hinata from the ero-game Hinatabokko, a set of Rozen Maiden mini figures.  Hiragi Hinata would be my very 1st item in my anime collection that would have detailed nudity involved.  The other hentai/ero-related items that I currently have don't have any detailed nudity.  Hopefully, I can get them before this month ends.  But chances are they will come some time early June.

In anime collectable news, Good Smile Company will be releasing another set of Fate/stay night trading figures called SMILE 600 Fate/stay night ~collective memories~.  Basically, it's part 2 from the past lineup which I already have.  Looking at them, I don't think I'll buy them.  I'm not too keen on the face designs; especially Archer & Saber.  There are 7 + 2 figures in a set & from the looks of it, they have limited articulations.  But very limited as it's mostly on the arms.  It's scheduled to be released on September 2006.  You can find the pictures of the trading figures here from the official website.

I've pretty much taken out everything that I put on reserve for this site.  So, a lot of the new future updates are going to be slow since they will be done within a week or 2 from the next update.

In the previous update, I forgot to archive all the April news into the Past News Archive section.  Now you can access them here.

Some time ago, I took the time to open some new items from my anime collection after getting a display case.  They are mainly Figumate trading figurines though: the Negima Vol. 4 & Rumble Roses Vol. 1.  Also took some pics of them when I had the time & some other stuff.  Saving them when I write some collectable reviews of them.

I had a hard time updating this site as Geocities decided to upgrade or change their services.  I couldn't access my old Geocities account & somehow made a new one with a different web address that's slightly different.  Now, I have another web space.  Thinking it over, it's not a bad thing since I can use it to store some files for the Downloads section as my Yahoo! Briefcase is nearly at the 70% mark of the 15MB storage space.

Working at hotels is a stressful job.  This past week, a guest comes in to check in.  She has a reservation.  However, she doesn't have money.  Her credit card doesn't work & she only has CDN$40 for a $200 3 night stay.  Then she tells me that she won't pay for the $100 cash deposit as well, which is a standard practice for hotels here.  Then she gets into an argument with me about how other hotels she's been to don't accept payment with cash until they check out, which is not possible.  Because I kept refusing her due to a lack of funds to pay for the room, she tells me how embarrassed she is standing there with 3 children & starts making comments about how I'm not letting her in because she's white.  That started to burn me up after hearing her say something that I never said or thought.  I was really going to call the police about racial discrimination on her if she made another comment about herself like that & insulting my race.  What made it worse is how she has 3 children surrounding her when she said that.  I really hate to see how her children will grow up if she truly has that kind of thinking about different races.  In the end, I let her in by bending company rules & I've got scolded for it even though I knew it was wrong.  Although I hate guest that can't follow hotel policies, I really hate how they make false accusations on me like thinking they are criminals or going against their races.

During my little spare times, I managed to get some more Suigetsu Palm Characters trading figurines.  I added 2 more characters to my set.  Just as I thought I got a complete set, I found out that I'm still missing 1.  It turns out that the 2 trading figurines that I got last time were actually all doubles.  Now I need to re-hunt for that missing figurine.  I plan to sell off the doubles in the future.  If you are interested in getting them, you can either wait until I put them up on eBay (as a way to advertise my anime store) or email me about them.  I'm thinking of redo the review of this set by adding more pictures & details on the missing figurines once I get it completed. 

And speaking of emails, I've been a bit flooded by email spams in my account.  I never had any before.  Now that this site has got some attention, it's been drawing email spammers to spam my inbox.  To stop it., I've changed it a bit by adding NOSPAM to it.  If you plan to email me, make sure you remove "NOSPAM" from the address.

Also, I picked up an incomplete set of the Figumate Mahou Sensei Negima Trading Figurine Vol. 4.  Opening 1 inner box doesn't give a complete set.  I'm missing 1 secret & buying it as an opened item will probably cost me a lot. After experiencing this from the past with the Rumble Roses version, I'm thinking Konomi is really making people buy more trading figurines than they should in order to complete a full set.  Now I'm concern if volume 5 will be like that since there are 10 in a full set & an inner box gives 10 figures.

And speaking of my site, I've starting to doubt that counter in the side frame.  The record of hits that I got from my info table is different from that counter by A LOT!  Not too sure why.

I want to do some reviews on some anime collectable items, but I don't have a lot of time taking pictures of them.  Plus, a lot of them are still in their boxes & packaging.  I'll probably update the list of items I have for the time being, so you people will know what to expect in the future.
