Conclusion

Dear students please read the following sentences

Disasters come in many shapes and sizes. Most are related to the weather. Some are predictable -- like a hurricane. Some, like an earthquake, surprise us. It’s good for you to know about the different kinds of disasters so you can be prepared! Although disasters themselves aren’t fun, so learning about them is!

Hurricanes: are severe tropical storms that come with heavy rains Hurricanes gather heat and energy through contact with warm ocean waters. Evaporation from the seawater increases their power.

A Drought: is a period of dry weather, especially a long one that is injurious to crops.

An Epidemic: is an illness that spreads quickly and affects many people.

A famine: is a shortage of food. During a famine, people starve they die of hunger.

A flood  :is an overflow of an expanse of water that submerges land

                       Image:Flood.jpg

Earthquakes:  are a series of vibrations induced in the earth's crust   by the abruption or rupture and rebound of rocks.

Forest fire: is a very difficult to control because it spreads so quickly.

A volcano: is a mountain with a hole in the top. Smoke rises out of the hole and liquid or molten rock flows.
