(Where Credit is Due)

I would like to thank the following people for their contributions to this web site and to the development of The World of Aernth:

Patrick Farley- for getting me started on this site, for getting me motivated and organized for running the PBEM games that operate out of this site, and for a considerable amount of advice. Without your help these pages would not even exist.

Tim Dugger- for LOTS of help concerning the HTML code that went into forming this site, without your help these pages would be an absolute mess (and probably would not work correctly).

Dale Maxwell- for his suggestions on ways to improve the looks of some of these pages, and for the naming of the days of the week on the "Calendar" page, as well as a few other suggestions.

Aran Mull- for his considerable help in writing the Druidical information for the setting, his writing has helped to fill in the large gaps that I had left within the mechanics and background for the Druidical "religion" (philosophy), that I had planned on working on at a later date. Luckily, we where thinking on the same wavelength concerning the structure and background on this subject.

TSR- if it was not for their incompitance and piss-poor job of developing the City of Lankmar products (TSR and Lankmar are trademarks of TSR Inc.), I would never have gotten pissed off and disappointed enough to develop my own campaign setting all those years ago. [A little explanation may be needed here: the city of Lankmar product was produced with very little attention to detail , as can be seen by their re-using the same floor plans for different buildings that are not of a "standardized" format, and accidently re-using the same name for businesses. They also claimed that the population density was about five times that of present day Hong Kong, New York , or Tokyo (well they didn't say that, only that there are a million people and then the scale that the map was drawn to indicated that the city was about 1 squre mile in size, you can do the math (they obviously didn't).]

ICE- for having developed an outstanding Role Playing Game system, which is used for the mechanics behind some of the RPG`s that take place within the world of Aernth.

Also to Steffan O'Sullivan for developing Fudge (or if you preffer: FUDGE). The best "free" RPG system out there. Incredibly simple and flexible, yet easily customizable.

If anyone would like to help and contribute anything to this site, please email me. I would like to make this site as complete as possible and would be overjoyed to have others help contribute to it. Things that would be ideal are maps of other cities or towns, Heraldry stuff, new cultures and religions, etc.

And all the players who have participated in the games that shaped and molded the world of Aernth over the years (in no particular order):

Patrick ("Plans? We don't need no stinkin plans!") F., Tim D., Fabio P., Pedro M., Dale (MadMax) M., Hohn, Elliot, Ebony, David S., Josh ("Dwarf! What else is there?") W., Jeremy J., John B.("the Ginsu Elf"), Jon L.("the Hair-pin Assassin"), John C., John N., "Little" John, Mark M., Eric S., Mike C. Jr. ("The Naked Flying Dwarf" (its a long, sick, and very disturbing story)), Mike C. Sr. (Dr. DM), Mike R., Sean S., Darrin M., Adrian M., Tracy M., Harry ("I WILL conquer the world!!!"), Lizzard (I have no idea where his nick-name came from???), Jim, Mark, Jake, Stan A., Stan O., Olin P.,

There are also several people that I can picture in my mind, but can not remember the names of since it has been ten years or more since I last saw them.
