David Kreider*, fine art pyrography on wood subtly enhanced with color; individual and group portraits, calligraphy, animals, and landscapes in themes from the Middle East and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, U.S.A.

Benelli*, pyrography and acrylic color on wood panels in a neo-expressionist style.

Susan Millis*, artist and conservator, does fine art works on paper and applied art on wood, some equestrian themes, some miniature works. In addition, she has completed a BA Honours in the study of this art form, its history, conservation, and restoration, and is currently working on her doctorate. Paul Chojnowski*, does Contemporary work in pyrography on birch plywood panels as well as on heavy paper. His works, including one large installation, have been shown in many galleries and museums, including three important museum exhibits dedicated to pyro work. Marshall Stokes aka CHO*, does Contemporary work in pyrography wood panels as well as some assemblages. His works have been shown in many galleries .

Rodger Letkeman, exquisitely detailed pyrography on wood panels, portraiture, Old Masters', and other themes, particularly Pacific Islands; elaborately carved frame also by the artist.

Irene Corgiat*, figurative works in pyrography on wood, velour paper, plus a unique work on linen, the Face from the Shroud of Turin, which is featured in an article linked from the salon. (See also Decorative and Applied Art Hall.)

Jim Hicks*, works in pyrography on basswood panels. He very effectively enhances his portraits of people (usually celebrities) and animals with chalk.

Katherine Boland*, works in abstract using mixed-media—to which she recently added burning techniques—on wood panels. The Artist's Statement prepared for her latest show On Fire offers an insight to her new techniques and works.

Sue Walters*, fine art pyrography on artist's paper delicately embellished with color; flora and fauna themes; also on wood, including a decorative art frame of a cityscape. Also works on unusual materials such as tagua nuts (vegetable ivory) and piano keys (elephant ivory).

Kathleen Marie Wilson*, lives and works in the southwest where the flora and fauna that surround her provide her with materials and inspiration both. Her wildlife works follow the very grain of the wood she works on.

Peter Drewett*, has done one (his first) portrait in 2004 to honor his mentor; however, his outsider art works are mostly on uneven sculptural shapes, particularly the percussion instruments for which he is best known. A work that won him recent acclaim was a gourd sculpture. (Because of his sculptural musical instruments, his work will be cross-referenced in the Sculpture Hall; because of his rustic themes, his work is featured in the Folk and Traditional Art Hall, and because of his unusual projects, his listing will be cross-referenced in the Special Hall, as well).

François Peeters*, is an autodidactic artist who works on wood without color other than that produced by burning. He sometimes works in bas relief along with his pyrography. At other times, some of his works have a distinctive look thanks to a special pyrographic technique he developed to produce additional dimension similar to that of a bas relief.

Blair Brown*, does pyrography on wood of subjects that reflect his life when he was working in southern and east Africa and Jamaica as well as his native Canada, particularly maritime themes.

Brian Warburton*, photorealism artist, inspired to do portraits that "tell a story..." Favorite themes are historic Native Americans, women celebrities, and children.

Richard Withers*, pyrographic portraits, animals, and landscapes on wood panels and tree trunks, also decorative art.

Paris Stavrinidis, pyrography and color on wood in an antique style.

Yury Zopov, dramatic pyrography with Celtic knotwork borders on wood panels; religious, fantasy, science fiction, and erotic themes.
