Award-winning American pyrographic artist David Kreider of Harrisonburg, Virginia, makes his living selling his work at juried art shows and festivals. His work focuses primarily on portraiture, calligraphy, landscapes, and animals. He draws his inspiration from the Jewish, Greek, Arab, and Christian culture that was his childhood in Israel-Palestine and the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in the United States that he now calls home. For more information on this artist and many more examples of his compelling pyrographs, visit David's Woodburning Studio.

David Kreider David made a television appearance at the beginning of this year on the Carol Duvall show where he demonstrated his techniques.

He was also featured in Pyrograffiti 14 in the November-December 2001 issue of the Woodcarvers Online Magazine, linked here.
