06-Apr: N.Korea missile sale to Middle East reaches 540 in the last 15 years. Clients include the Islamic regime in Iran, Saddam of Iraq and Qazafi of Libya. Pyongyang supplied mostly Scud-class missiles with the exception of 50 No-Dong-1 missiles to Libya. N.Korea obtained about $2 million per Scud and $7 million for every No-Dong.
16-Apr: The second N.Korean shipment of missile components and technology this year is delivered for Islamic regime's Shihab-3 program. The shipment of rocket motors and missile airframe was spotted by U.S. satellite reconnaissance.
15-Aug: The Islamic regime's "Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics" test fired an anti-tank guided weapon that "is capable of destroying the most sophisticated armour equipment".
17-Jul:Islamic regime's Chairman of the Expediency Council (EC) Ayat-Allah Aliakbar Hashemi Rafsanjani warns Jordanian ambassador Nouh Ali Salman, that Muslim states must be be vigilant vis-a-vis the ploys hatched by the Zionist regime and its allies. He commented on the great achievements by the Palestinian movement of Intifada and its efforts to secure the liberation of the Holy Qods from the Israeli control and said all the Muslim states are religiously duty bound to give support for the Palestinian Intifada until it attains the final victory.
28-Aug: The Islamic regime is ready to deploy the Shihab-3 missile, with a range of 1,300 kilometers. They said the missile is regarded as operational although it has not entered serial production. Regime's inventory includes hundreds of short-range missiles capable of hitting most targets in the Persian Gulf and Turkey.
