12-Jan: N.Korea's Air Force Commander Cho Myong-rok leads a 29 member delegation of military and nuclear experts on a visit to Iran. New agreements to intensify military and nuclear cooperation were reached. The testing of the Nodong-2 missile at Iranian city of Shahroud was discussed.
09-Mar: N.Korea is building two new medium-range missiles: Taepodong-1 (1,000+ mile range) and Taepodong-2 (2,000+ mile range).
30-Mar: The Russian Federal Counterintelligence Service (FSK) detains three N.Korean embassy employees for attempting to acquire samples of new Russian weaponry.
11-Apr: N.Korea and Islamic Regime agree to establish a Nodong-1 missile production facility in Iran under the code name "Ronda-68."
Oct: A reconnaissance satellite captures three Nodong-class missiles being assembled 25 miles north or the Esfahan, Iran.
