Reuters , New York:

August 17th, 1996, Rachel Millman accepted the proposal of marriage by Steve Hauben, how he asked. Steve met Rachel through America Online (congratulatory letter from their CEO). Their first date was on the afternoon of Sunday January 14, 1996 in the Galleria in White Plains, NY (info//current weather). They walked around the mall going to the Disney Store where they discussed her love for Tigger (resident of The Hundred Acre Wood) (Tigger Song), as well as the three other Ts; Taz (Taz Growl), Tweety (Tweety Speaks), and Topal. They got Mochalatta chills at Cinnabon it turns out they had a lot in common, they both grew up in Rockland County NY, they are both Jewish, they both drove Nissan Sentras, and they both liked to cook (1 | 2) and eat, both in and out (1 | 2 | 3) and much much more. It was a match made in heaven, for a wide variety of reasons.

After that they spent a lot of time on the phone making Bell Atlantic and (then) NYNEX rich, as they got to know each other better. They commuted between Jersey City, NJ (in Hudson County) and White Plains, NY (in Westchester county) seeing each other as much as possible, usually several times a week, but talking every day.

They did a lot of things together; they went to the movies, out to eat (4 | 5 | 6) and to Atlantic City (gambled at the Taj Mahal and stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott). They went shopping at The Westchester, Galleria, and Warner Brothers. They also like to go places together, they have been to Burlington area of Vermont. They had a wonderful time, they stayed at the Susse Chalet in Willington, VT the first night and the Howard Johnson's Rte. 7 in South Burlington their second. While there they went to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company where they went on the tour, they also went to the Ben & Jerry's factory and went on their tour (and ate lots of ice cream), they learned how maple syrup is made. They drove through the IBM Microelectronics facility in Burlington. They love Vermont so much they went there for one year anniversary (see the page). Next time they will probably stay in a Bed & Breakfast. They have also been to Manahawkin, NJ, The Hamptons, and Cape Cod.
