Service is a vital aspect of my work. Service means taking care of the details and anticipating any possible need. It also means getting more than you expect: more attention to details, more choices and better outcome. In hiring a personal chef, service is having the flexibility to plan and eat the diet you choose. In addition, I will suggest and experiment with new recipes, ingredients and menu combination. As a personal chef, I enable you to eat a healthy and nutritious diet. My aim is to serve your need in whatever way necessary. I offer three categories of service and a plan of personal service. The service categories fall into these areas:

  • Complete cooked and packaged meals for a week. Planned with a nutritionist and personally customized to your own taste and needs
  • Partial diet supplement for the difficult or special meals (lunches for work, dinner at home, snacks for kids ...
  • Helpful services to enable healthy eating: shopping, menu planning, packaging and casual cooking (parties, events, etc.)

Let's get started ... How can my service help you?

  • Start with a simple phone call: what kind of help do you need? What's important to you? and where do you need help?
  • Take a look at the site or a nutritional diet resource. Do you need help from a nutritionist? Do you want to try a popular diet?
  • Do you want a trial service? Do you have any questions about the details? We can meet and start planning a menu
  •     So, send me an E-Mail message and let's get started. E-Mail for details ...

Rates and Packages

Eating a healthy diet is not a luxury. Rates and packages are intended to help you eat well compared to going out or ordering takeout service. Packages are loosely priced on the number of meals and the variation in a package. When shopping and preparing many similar dishes, the rate per meal is more economical.
Some examples on rates:

  • Weekly program for a small family (3 ~ 4):
From 10 to 20 meals (dinners and lunches): $200 - $250 per week*.
  • Weekly program for single or couple (1 ~ 2):
From 6 to 15 meals (dinners and lunches): $120 - $220 per week*.
  • Small family dinner for eight: (5 ~ 8):
Eight meals, one salad or soup, main dish, two side dishes and compete meal preparation: $120 - $200**.
  • Menu planning, shopping, packaging and pick-up/delivery:
Hourly rate with other services: $15 - $25 per hour.
* All meals include a salad or soup, main dish and side dish. Ingredients are charged separately, shopping deposit required. ** Complete menu, shopping and serving preparation included. Please contact for details ...

How does it work

woman6

Basic chef service is broken down to three phases:

  • Planning: consultation, menu and recipe selection.
  • Cook session: shopping, cooking and packaging.
  • Progress: diet and menu changes, regular cook dates, more useful packaging (for work, kids' snacks ...)
The planning phase is comprised of diet and menu selection. This part we work on together, and will result in a menu that fits your taste and nutritional needs. If you are working with a specific diet, nutritional goals are set and I will use them to assemble a menu. If you are working with a nutritionist, dietitian or a personal trainer, we should work in concert to achieve your overall goal. At the end of this phase you will have a clear idea of what meals, ingredients and packages will be delivered.
Once the planning is done, cooking is the easy part. I shop for ingredients at a local market. Shopping for fresh ingredients takes place in the morning of the cook date. I will shop in up to three stores, depending on your specific recipes. Then off to your kitchen for cooking. Cooking takes from three to six hours. Usually it starts around 10:00 AM and goes on to 3:00 PM. You are welcome to be in the kitchen for the first few times, we can go over last minute details if you have any questions. Once I get started, it would be great to let me work alone until most of the cooking and packaging is done.
