The Great River Regional Coin Club meets regularly on the first Thursday of each month at Miller's Indoor Auto Plaza at 2930 2nd Street South, St. Cloud, MN. Meeting time is 6:30 PM and goes to approximately 8:30.

September Recap
We prepared for the Fall Coin Show. We have 23 tables sold for the show. We also prepared the postcards to be sent out.
Chelsea M. gave a fascinating presentation on peace metals that were given to the Native Americans.
October Recap
We did fine with the Fall Coin Show. For the Spring Coin Show, we raised table prices to $50. The Spring Show is scheduled for April 17.
D.J. K. gave a presentation on the new $50 bill. Also John K. gave an interesting presentation on military POGS used to buy non-essential luxuries.
Also, Tim M. and John S. showed Lewis and Clark memorabilia from the Mint.
November Recap
There are 2 tables sold for the Spring Coin Show.
A discussion was brought up again about having a combined coin/stamp show with the local Stamp Club in town.
Colin O. gave a presentation on the history of Roosevelt Dimes.
Dirty Bingo is a go for next month along with elections!
Special Events:
December 2nd is Dirty Bingo. Remember to play dirty! Please bring a $10 coin related gift. Gift should wrapped with your name on it. Also elections will be held.

June Recap
We have sold 3 tables for the Fall Coin Show. Even though wooden nickel sales seems to be down, we will decide on a design for the Fall Coin Show.
We made $99 off of the Spring Coin Show, mainly thanks to a cost break from the Kelly Inn.
Roy gave an interesting presentation on some definitions commonly heard in coin collecting and dealing.
Afterwards we had an discussion on cleaning and slabbing coins. A very busy meeting.
July Recap
We voted on ordering wooden nickels for the Fall Coin Show. We also discussed about conflicting dates for the Show.
John K. gave a presentation on casino tokens and chips.
August Recap
Fall Coin Show update: We have 12 tables sold for our upcoming Show on September 19. We decided on an ad size for the local Shopping News. And we voted fot the wooden nickel design. This is the design: 
The Red books came in. Some are still left for members at $9. Also we decided not to donate one to the Public Library. Blue books should be in next month.

March Recap
We discussed advertising in local papers for the Spring Show. We also bought signage for outside the Kelly Inn.
Cy Schaefer gave us a captivating and fascinating presentation on metal detecting.
April Recap
There have been 20 tables sold for the Spring Show at this time. Press releases have been given to the local papers and radio stations. Postcards are being sent out.
Tim Muntifering, with his agile helper Chelsea, gave a presentation on the history, mintages, and values of gold coins.
May Recap
The Spring Coin Show was a great success. We had a good turnout, even though we had fewer dealers due to shows in North Dakota and Wisconsin. The date for the Fall Show was finalized as September 19.
We welcomed Duane Schumacher and family to the club. They signed up during the Spring Coin Show.

December Recap
We had a new member join, Steve O.
We are putting ads in the Shopping News to try to attract new members.
We have put together a listing of who is doing presentations and when. You can find the listing for each month in the meeting dates.
The election of officers was Mike is president, Cy is Treasuer and VP, John K is Coin Show Organizer, and D.J. is Newsletter Coordinator.
We played Dirty Bingo and had a fun time.
January Recap
We decided to have the Fall Show again this year. We will have it Sept. 26, the last Sunday of the month.
John K. gave us a presentation on U.S. paper currency and the symbols and their meanings.
February Recap
We have 12 tables sold for the April 18th Spring Coin Show.
We also chose our wooden nickel for the Spring Coin Show.
We watched an ANA coin collecting video for Mike's presentation.
