The Great River Regional Coin Club meets regularly on the first Thursday of each month at Miller's Indoor Auto Plaza at 2930 2nd Street South, St. Cloud, MN. Meeting time is 6:30 PM and goes to approximately 8:30.

September Recap
The Red and Blue books are in. The wooden nickels have arrived.
We addressed postcards and prepared for the Fall Coin Show.
October Recap
D.J. Kayser gave a presentation on a way to get rid of the one cent piece and mint a new eighteen cent piece. The success of the Fall Coin Show was discussed. Meeting was short because of a lack of members.
November Recap
We have committed 13 tables for the Spring Coin Show.
We have decided to stop the Fall Show since there are too many other coin shows at the same time. We had 25 tables sold and other years we had all tables sold.
We discussed sending out the newsletter out every 6 weeks, and possibly by e-mail. We also discussed how to increase membership. Officer elections are next month. The available positions are president, vice-president, treasurer, coin show organizer, and newsletter coordinator. Also next month is Dirty Bingo (see Special Events below for details).
Special Events:
December 4th is Dirty Bingo night. Remember to play dirty! Please bring a $10 coin related gift wrapped with your name on it.

June Recap
The idea of hosting a Token Show in St. Cloud in the Fall of 2004 was discussed. The club is going to check out the Red Carpet and other places.
A trip to the Canadian Mint was suggested. Costs are being checked out.
Junior Member Tori gave a presentation on the meanings of symbols on coins.
July Recap
We discussed a possible trip to the Canadian Mint late next month. We will take a final vote on it next month.
Hallenbeck Hall, on the SCSU campus, was discussed as a possible place for hosting a token show. If the price is low enough, a vote on the issue will happen next meeting. Also, wooden nickel designs will be voted on for the Fall Show on September 14 next meeting.
August Recap
We decided against hosting a token show next year, because of lack of response from SCSU. But there is always the next year to plan for!
We also decided against going up to the Canadian Mint later this month. The trip was too expensive at this time. Nine tables are sold for the Coin Show next month. If you would like a table please contact John. The wooden nickel design was chosen for the Fall Show. It has an American Flag on it, supporting our troops. Here it is:

March Recap
18 tables have been sold for the Spring Show. Wooden nickels are now available and will be sold at the normal prices.
We discussed advertising in local papers for the Spring Show. We also bought signage for outside the Kelly Inn.
John gave a presentation on casino tokens and cards.
April Recap
There have been 26 tables sold for the Spring Show at this time. Press releases have been given to the local papers and radio stations. Postcards have been sent out.
Dates have been set up for the next Fall and Spring Shows. If we hope to host the 2004 Labor Day Token Show in conjunction to our own 2004 Fall Coin Show, we will need to find a larger location for it by our next Fall Coin Show. Anyone who has location suggestions contact John at 320-654-4031 days/320-393-3148 nights.
Dues were postponed until next month due to low turn out.
May Recap
The Spring Coin Show was a great success. The date for the Fall Show is still September 14.
We discussed more about hosting the 2004 Labor Day Token Show.
We had a discussion of the new $20 bill and the new nickel, both coming out later this year.
Cy told us about his latest metal detecting adventure.

December Recap
Officers were picked this month. The President is Mike, the Vice-President is Adam, the Treasurer is Cy, the Coin Show Coordinator is John, and the Newsletter Coordinator is D.J.
We played dirty bingo, and we did get dirty again this year!
January Recap
2 tables are sold for the Spring Coin Show on April 13. We also voted for the whole room for the show. If you want a table (or 2) contact Roy or John.
We also picked the design for the spring wooden nickel. We are getting them from Old Time Wooden Nickel Co.. K-19 design won a hard fight to proudly represent us at the coin show.

February Recap
There are 3 tables sold for the Spring Coin Show. The wooden nickels came in for the Spring Show also.
We discussed about hosting a token/coin convention next year at the Civic Center. John K. is looking into it.
We had a short auction and watched a video at the end.
