The "Flying" dress is the dress from this one " I'm flying ! "- scene. It is as well to be seen within the Café Parisien when Roses mother goes on about the impudence of her daughter to wear a lavender colored dress on her wedding and about the fact that the invitations had to be improved twice for this wedding. The dress is additionally to be seen in the scenes within which Rose mentions Thomas Andrews on the capacity of the lifeboats and in the one when Jack drags rose into the gymnasium of the ship and confesses his love even if he doesn't have to offer her much.
The dress consists of several parts:
ˇ A wrap-around skirt of silk or satin (that's how we make it) which is occupied at the front lower edge with flower embroidery,
ˇ a kind of "Jacket" of blue velvet with sleeve and collar edging in satin which is open up to the waist.
ˇ a small shirt of white lace we usually don't contain in our scope of supply - however you can get this one on request and
ˇ a belt from satin which is provided with two "stationary" sashes on which flower motives are shown on.
The flower motives on the skirt and belt are not embroidered on the dress that we supply, they are drawn with silk colors. On request, however, we also embroider the flowers by hand. The dress also shows another unusual feature apart from the lovely flower embroidery:
The left and the right sleeve differ from each other. Three loops are found at the right cuff, fastened with buttons, these however aren't available at the left cuff. We also take this detail into the account of our work of course.
