The Major Arcana
The Major Arcana is made up of the twenty two
cards depicted above, each of which has it's own name as shown . As well
as each card having a name of it's own , so each card also has it's own
meaning . It is by knowing the meanings of each of these cards and becoming
familiar with the symbolism of each separate card that it becomes possible
to read the cards .I am in the process of making a page describing the
basic meaning of each card and will publish it later in the week . In the
meantime if you are a novice clairvoyant , use this time to become familiar
with the names of each of the cards .As I have already said in an earlier
paragraph , there are more then 220 different decks available at present
and while each deck has a different theme to it's graphics , all the cards
are still basically the same .
Below is an example of this .
Although these two cards look different , they are
both depicting " The Hermit "
and have the same meaning . The graphical differences
are a reflection of the artists vision of "The Hermit " and while the appearance
is different we can clearly see that both cards are depicting "The Hermit"
.
