Plot -
Trying to save Photon from the Wrecking Crew, the Avengers follow the Crew to the world of Polemachus, home of Arkon and Thundra. Polemachus's Grand Vizier has taken Photon's energy and allowed the Wrecking Crew to absorb her strength. This allowed them to capture Arkon, Polemachus's ruler, and force Thundra to flee. Captain America has been seemingly captured, when his executioner enters the throne room now occupied by the Crew, the Vizier, and the captured Photon. However, Cap's body suddenly falls as the executioner stands reveals as Captain America. Meanwhile, on the castle's outskirts, the Avengers (Thor, Firestar, Scarlet Witch, Wonder Man, and Black Knight) team up with Thundra to storm the castle with the world's children flying ships. They win, and make their way into the castle. Back in the castle, the Vision, who was posing as Cap, frees Arkon from his prison. The Scarlet Witch and the rest of the Avengers soon appear, and Arkon and Thundra are re-united. The team then attacks the throneroom, They attack the Vizier and the Crew, but are unable to free Photon from her prison. Knowing that the Crew needs her power to win, Photon ups her output, letting the Wrecking Crew have more power than they can handle. Their power short-circuits, and Photon is freed. Arkon takes back his kingdom, vowing to lead Polemachus into a brighter future. The Avengers return home, but after they do, their team-mate Giant-Man is kidnapped by Ultron's robots.
