Plot -
When an Avengers emergency signal goes off in a San Francisco hospital, Starfox, the Wasp,
She-Hulk, Tigra, and Shroud appear. Finding their way through Dr. Strange's mystic
barrier, the five heroes find themselves in Jessica Drew's, the former Spider-Woman,
hospital room, with their teammates, Captain Marvel and the Scarlet Witch, the sorcerer
Dr. Strange, and ex-Avenger Hank Pym. Above Jessica's dying body is her astral form, but
some unknown energy is stopping the astral form from re-uniting with Jessica's body. Then,
Morgan LeFay appears, telling the Avengers how Spider-Woman had stolen her disciple Magnus
from her, and how Morgan seperated Spider-Woman from her body. Morgan attacks to stop the
Avengers from keeping Jessica alive, but Dr. Strange, Shroud, and the Avengers fight back.
Back at the Avengers Mansion, Captain America and the Hawkeye become worried at a meeting
with the new Vision and begin to fear that their fellow Avenger has changed for the worse.
Back at the hospital, some of the Avengers follow Dr. Strange to the astral plane to stop
Morgan, while the others try to keep Jessica's body alive. Dr. Strange allows
Spider-Woman's astral form to find her true love Magnus again, while the Avengers trap
Morgan on the plane. Dr. Strange then pushes Jessica's astral form back into her body,
saving her life at the expense of her super-powers. From now on, Spider-Woman is only
Jessica Drew.
