WELCOME
Behold the letters which burn through the gloom, written on the arch over your heads.
The gateway to the city of Doom. Through me
The entrance to the Everlasting Pain.

The Gateway of the Lost. The Eternal Three
Justice impelled to build me. Here ye see
Wisdom Supreme at work, and Primal Power,
And Love Supernal in their dawnless day.
Ere from their thought creation rose in flower

Eternal first were all things fixed as they.

Of Increate Power infinite formed am I

That deathless as themselves I do not die.

Justice divine has weighed: the doom is clear.
All hope renounce, ye lost, who enter here.

Inferno of Dante: A New Verse Translation
Your guide through this sad and yet so happy place, is Jan Hyrman. And I am Jan Hyrman, an evil student especially evilly studying Philosophy at the good old Charles University in Prague. You'll know much more when you're done with reading this site! There are things you might have in common with me, your devilish guide, though you might not like it. Heh heh heh!
Hello! You have now entered the most diabolical place internet can offer you! Feel welcome! This page is here to offer you the best apocalyptic, hellish, devilish and fiendish stuff you sinners love so much!
Well, maybe you never thought you would come to like poetry but when you first read Dante's diabolical work Inferno (get the complete text of English translation here), it was love at first sight. If it was, it is one thing we definetely have in common. Now you can also read Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained by John Milton. And maybe you came to like Beowulf (get its complete English translation here), that famous and very long heroic epic about that Danish dragonslayer Beowulf? I definetely did.

And what about the movies you love?! I personally love going to the cinema (the movies - for the U. S. visitors) and I have a few favourites.

Because I have always been fond of Middle Ages and the fine films about those funny times of slaughter and darkness, I must mention Mel Gibson's
Braveheart which I saw two times and never got fed up with it. It?s about a real figure of Scottish history, about a rebel William Wallace, and the movie looks really realistic.

Have you seen James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day movie? Wasn't it superb?! I believe it was. And if you didn't ever get why and how L. A. got nuked, you can see an official report of the U. S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency on how nuclear weapon may ruin your day.

And what about Francis Ford Coppola's masterpieces like Dracula or Godfather? I love it!
Have you ever seen Mars Attacks!? And what about the Fifth Element? And Starship Troopers? Have you heard of that Aliens Vs. Predator movie? You haven't?! No wonder concerning the latter one which actually never came out.

You can't forget the impression Devil's Advocate made on you? Do you think Al Pacino didn't have to practice for his role of the Devil? Do you think it is quite strange to see a street in Manhattan empty of cars, yellow cabs and people? Do you think it is one hell of a strange thing why Keanu Reeves always plays a lawyer who is under a thumb of a vile mythical beast? Do you feel strangely excited by the sight of Good vs. Evil? Do feel it was good that the Devil actually won in the end? Then you know why I like that movie. Heh heh heh.

You still haven't recovered from being totally shocked by Saving Private Ryan movie? Do you think it was the most nightmarish movie you have ever ever ever seen? Do you think the view of a total carnage, of a massacre you are part of, that the feeling of the terrifying, stone cold breath of Death tearing your very soul, sharp as a blade of ice hotter than the hottest hell ever, that this gigantic apocalypse jammed by fear are more real than anything real before? There are two of us, my friend! hardcover
But going to the cinema is only one of my hobbies. I like reading, both nonfiction (books and articles about ancient history, medieval history, mythology, warfare and architecture - especially castles) and fiction (mostly fantasy), I also like swimming, having fun and partying.
And if we have so many things in common or in case you are an absolute car freak, you can try MY BROTHER'S NSU TT HOMEPAGE to see if he has any things in common with you.
BYE!
Maybe we'll see each other some day, somewhere in the Czech Republic. Anyway, we won't (or even don't) know
about that we've seen each other.

Okay, see you in hell!
