Body

Body: I'm going to use the stock white with a red interior paint scheme on this model with some parts box decals. Since the real Corvette bodys are made from fiberglass, I'm not going to be doing many body modifications.

Fenders: The front of the wheel openings were modified to match the radius of the front valence.

Hood: I had to slightly reshape the hood for it to open and close properly. It was hitting the sides and slightly rubbing on the front. After a little sanding, everything fit well and functions properly.

Grill:

Front Valance: I had to sand both of the ends down to match the fender and slightly modify the contour of the grill opening for everything to match properly.

Front Bumper:

Rear Quarters: The sides where the valance meets the rear quarters had to be sanded and filled to match properly. I also radiused the rear wheel wells so the larger rear tires would fit without touching the body or holding the body out of position. You can see how bad it was in the picture below.

Rear Valence: I had to sand down the "over bite" that the car had after the installation of the rear valence. I thought about making a mold of it so I could make a Cars inspired build later, but I forgot about it until after I had already started sanding everything down.

Rear Bumper:

Trunk Lid: I made a mount for a parachute in the tag bracket area.
