| The Last Battle of G.I. Joe tells the story of true heorism, and sacrafice with fake soldiers. A small unit of marines must defend a radio tower deep behind enemy lines. Cut off from supplies and with no reinforcements on the way, these brave men must use any means necessary to keep their fort from being over-run. Should the tower be taken, the war could be lost. Though it may cost them all their lives, they vow to defend the tower until allied troops arrive. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| This is an anti-war statement. It is told through a parody of war film cliches, and portrayed using war toys and the kind of play that children engage in with these toys. Knee-jerk patriotism is dangerous, especially now. Using crudely articulated and expressionless action figures (in concert with the same kind of "mouth foley" that kids use when playing with these toys), we hope to make the movie humorous, while inspiring the audience to consider the ramifications of military deployment. |
