THOMSON  TO7

TO7 The TO7 was introduced by french company Thomson in 1982. It ran on 6809E/1 MHz (as well as the all TO and MO models, except PC compatible TO16) with 8 KB RAM and 4 KB ROM. It had cartridge slot build-in and light-pen as standard, because its operating system was based on this periphery.
In 1984 Thomson launched model TO7-70 (on the picture) with more colors (16 instead of 8), 48 RAM & 22 KB ROM, and with the better keyboard.

THOMSON  MO5

MO5 The MO5 was computer for beginners introduced in 1984. It was based on 6809E/1 MHz microprocessor and featured 16 KB ROM, 32 KB RAM and optional light-pen. There also was export versions (E), network versions (NR) and special "football" edition "Michel Platini".

THOMSON  MO6

MO6 The MO6 (1986) was the successor of the MO5, and it was compatible with the MO5 and the other members of its family (TO7, TO8, TO9 and TO9 plus). It had build-in tape recorder, 128 KB RAM and two Basics in ROM - one to be compatible with MO5 and the Basic 128 (both made by Microsoft).

THOMSON  TO9

TO5 In 1985 company produced model TO9, which meant to be a "super" TO7-70. It was provided with several utilities in ROM (two Basics, text editor, database), 128 KB RAM and 3,5" floppy disk unit. But company decided to replace this model with TO9 plus one year later. It was designed as a Minitel server (french videotext terminal), so it had 1200 modem built-in and 512 KB of RAM. Computer is compatible with TO8/TO8D and with MO6 as well.

THOMSON  TO8

The Thomson TO8 (1986) was the successor of the Thomson TO7/TO7-70. It had 256 KB of RAM and three Basics in ROM: The Basic 1.0 of the TO7, The Basic 512 and the Basic DISK. The TO8D version (on the picture) was launched a few months later and featured 3,5" floppy unit built-in.
