what i believe is emptiness...and kindness in our hearts

from 'Crutches,' Discipline

my crutches, my support.  the past five months have been a time of great changes, of learning to let go and let others support me as i have supported them for so long.  this has been a difficult lesson to learn.  it has been difficult to accept.  but i am learning, i am accepting.

several people have been paramount to my survival.  several people have given of themselves to bring me health and happiness.   often to the point of ignoring their own needs and desires.  such gifts do not go unnoticed or unrewarded.  this page is but a small shrine to a quality i see far too infrequently, a quality of humanity and love that i feel gives humanity a chance.
