The HRSG Performance gives complete calculations for Heat Duty, Steam Generation, Configuration of the Heating Surfaces (Modules), Steam and Gas Temperature Profile, Heat Duty Distribution and Main Stack. The HRSG Temperature Profile Drawing depicts the Steam/Water Temperature and Gas Temperature profile over heating surfaces (Modules).

The software is validated under design mode and off-design mode against the heat balance data of internationally reputed gas turbine and steam turbine manufacturers.  The variations reported which is insignificant, is primarily because of the difference in water and steam properties routine being used and also due to the fact that the detailed simulation of all equipment has not been used in the software.

This software has been developed to allow combined cycle power plant designers to develop base designs, scenarios, without having to request data from both gas turbine and HRSG manufacturers.

The results obtained from this software are within limits of error of plus or minus 1% on Power Output and 3% on Steam flow and will allow an engineer to effectively evaluate competitive systems, or changes to the design of existing system.
