Set-up Information

ESS products basically combines a predefined Excel^TM calculation work book, Excel macros and external calculations for the simulation of the Power Plant Cycle analysis and System Design.

Installation Requirements

ESS products require Windows based Microsoft Excel97 or higher versions of Excel^TM (Microsoft Excel^TM is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation).

The hardware requirement is minimum Pentium I based computer with 32MB RAM or above.

ESS Files

The ESS Files are standard Excel files (with .xls extension). The results are also generated in the same file. Hence, for every project, the default ESS file shall have to be saved in new file with the project identifiable file name. The files with default name shall have to be retained as it is in a safe location in the computer as a back up.

Licensing

The ESS products are protected by software key. Once installed in the relevant computer and locked, the same cannot be transferred or copied to some other computer for working. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of the USER LICENSE AGREEMENT, the user will be provided the full license to use the ESS products.
