Steam Cycle Analysis and System Design of Waste Heat Based Power Plants

The whXXpert handles system design of Waste Heat Power Plants for Rotary Kiln based Sponge Iron plants or Waste Gases from any sources and designs entire Power Plant System including WHRB, Steam Turbine, Feed Pumps, Deaerator, Condenser, CEP, Cooling Tower, CW System, ACW System, Plant Water System, Air Conditioning and Ventilation System, Compressed Air System, Fire Fighting System etc.

 

It computes maximum steam generation from the available waste gas from the rotary kiln or other sources.  The major inputs for this software are Waste Gas Volumetric composition, Gas Quantity, Gas Temperature and Dust Content. 

The Heat Balance Diagram depicts the Waste Heat Power Plant configuration and also gives performance details like Gross Power, Auxiliary Power Consumption and Net Power.

This Expert System designs entire Power Plant System including Boiler, Motor Driven Boiler Feed Pumps, Deaerator, Feed  Heaters, Condenser, CEP, Cooling Tower, CW System, ACW System, Plant Water System, Ash Handling Plant, Air Conditioning and Ventilation System, Compressed Air System, Fire Fighting System, and Plant Power & Utility Piping System.

The System Design sheet performs number of basic calculations and integrates all the components of the Waste Heat Power Plant System.

The WHRB Performance gives complete calculations for Heat Duty, Steam Generation, Configuration of the Heating Surfaces, Steam and Gas Temperature Profile, Heat Duty Distribution, Electro-Static Precipitator, ID Fan and Main Stack.

It optimizes the Plant Economics by calculating Cost of Generation and Project Cost Estimation.  It computes the Heat Rate and Auxiliary Power consumption of the Power Plant.  

The System Design sheet performs number of basic calculations and integrates all the components of the Power Plant System.

This software is basically a worksheet module with build-in programs developed using Visual Basic Application Tools, which can be customized easily to specific requirements.
