This large lake provides plenty to do for those who like surfing, swimming, or fishing. This lake teams mostly with Magikarp.

In the year 2000 Team Rocket invented a radio signal that forced pokémon to evolve. Their test area was this lovely lake. The peaceful Magikarp in the waters started evolving into the stronger Gyarados! This created a great danger for the fisherman, among other people.
One confounding variable in this experiment was that a red Gyrados appeared. The same trainer who defeated Team Rocket took this Gyarados out of the waters first. It is unknown whether the red Gyarados was defeated or captured by this trainer.

Team Rocket's Hideout

Butch and Cassidy (click for more info on them)
two notorious members of Team Rocket.
Background cleanup edits: Sapphire.

This small in-the-way town was chosen in 1999 to be the new base for the famed Team Rocket. They built a whole network of underground offices and hidden traps for intruders. The entrance to their hideout was located in a small shop owned by a nice, sweet, old lady.

Pokémon Gym

The person who runs the gym in this town is Pryce. He is an arrogant old man that uses ice type pokémon. His gym is almost entirely frozen solid, and the floor is very slippery. If a trainer wants to get to him, he or she has to be careful of where they slide.
