| Hidden Agenda (2002) Cast:Dolph Lundgren,Maxim Roy,Brigette Paquette,Ted Whittall,Christian Paul Dolph Lundgren stars as an agent of the NSA who makes people disappear however something goes wrong when a witness is killed, Now Dolph Lundgren and his agents must find the leak and expose the "Cleaner" in this better then average Lundgren actioner. I admit I had low expectations with this movie, Dolph Lundgren has been going through a slump. (Agent Red,Sweepers and The Minion were all terrible movies)However with Hidden Agenda Dolph Lundgren scores one of his better movies, let alone post-Bridge Of Dragons, While flawed Hidden Agenda at least offers the action and for the most part is well made and watchable. Something Lundgren's later movies have been lacking in. The story doesn't make much sense and the film is somewhat predictable but Hidden Agenda and there are times where its hard to follow exactly what is going on, however as usual the polished look as well as the flair in the directing make this a decent effort. Although it would have been nice had Grenier had not done freeze frame in the fight sequences, which provide more irritation then anything else. Still for fans of the genre, this is an agenda worth checking out. D.Marc S. Grenier *** |
