Xena lies on a table after the death of the last war she was in. The New Challenger walks in to the cave and finds his sister lying on a boulder. He quietly walks over to her and leans over her. The whole room is dark except for a ray of light that shows through the entrance of the cave with only his piercing royal blue eyes showing with the rest of his body in the darkness of the room. Life giving energy given to him by God starts to form in his hands. His hands start to glow with an enormous amount of energy. He puts his hands right above her eyes on the sides of Xena�s head. His hands start to glow brighter as he gives life into his sister�s body with no free will of his own.

Xena wakes up dazed after a moment. She sits up while being rapped up and dressed in rags and looks around to see who is in the cave. As Xena hears footsteps exiting the cave, she sees a slight glimpse of her brother walking out at the last second. She tries to get up as fast as she can while she�s still dazed.

�Who�s there!?� Xena says.

The New Challenger doesn�t answer.

�Who�s out there!?� She says again, but The New Challenger still doesn�t answer.

Xena stumbles to her feet wondering what happened to her. She stands up, gathers herself and walks to the outside of the cave but sees no one. She sees strange writings on the walls. It's numbers and words written in Aramaic. It shows nine�s, zeros and two�s and holy prophesies. She stands confused about what is written on the walls and what they mean and how she got where she was. She walks out of the cave hoping to find her best friend Gabrielle.

As Xena walks through several places while trying to find out where she last saw Gabrielle, she suddenly hears and sees someone walking in the wilderness. They have a short frame and short blonde hair.

�Xena!?� Gabrielle shouts to her as Gabrielle sees a tall frame with long dark hair.

Xena is shocked and surprised to hear a voice that she recognizes.

�Gabrielle!?� Xena yells to Gabrielle with a shocked voice, �Is that you!?�

�I thought I�d never see you again!� Gabrielle yells with excitement.

�I thought the same thing after I woke up,� Xena replies.

�Wait,� Gabrielle says with an emotional shocked voice as she walks backwards, �You�re supposed to be dead. You said you couldn�t come back after you set the lost souls free after killing Yodoshi.�

Xena gets ready to hug Gabrielle.

�Wait, who are you?!� Gabrielle says with a voice filled with fear, �Who are you? What have you done with Xena?�

�Gabrielle, it�s me!� Xena says with a stern voice.

�Ares, I swear, if this is your idea of a sick joke, I�m not in the mood for it!!!� Gabrielle says with her sais pointing at Xena to protect her self.

�Gabrielle, it�s me!� Xena says starting to hold Gabrielle by her shoulders.

�Stop, you�re supposed to be dead!!!� Gabrielle yells while pushing Xena away from her.

�Gabrielle, it�s me!� Xena yells holding Gabrielle�s shoulders tighter to ease Gabrielle�s hysteria, �I�m as confused as you are! All I remember is fighting Yodoshi to free the souls. The next thing I know I wake up in a cave. I don�t even know how the hell I got there.�

�What cave?� Gabrielle asks.

�I don�t know, all I remember is being in a cave not knowing where I was. The next thing I heard was someone walking out of it. I yelled out to them a few times to see who it was, but they didn�t answer,� Xena explains with confusion.

�What? I��..� Gabrielle says bewildered.

Gabrielle starts to pace back and forth.

�How did.......?� Gabrielle asks thinking out loud.

�I don�t know,� Xena says to Gabrielle.

Gabrielle stops pacing, �Jeez��I�m just glad you�re alive.�

�Thanks, me too,� Xena says as she and Gabrielle hug one another, �Come on, we can talk more while we�re walking?�

�Where are we going?� Gabrielle asks.

�Where ever, I don�t care,� Xena smiles.

Later in the day, while Xena and Gabrielle walk and catch up, they meet a group of guys who are looking to pick a fight with them. They look innocent. They try to start a fight with Xena and Gabrielle knowing who they are. The men take their weapons out and attack them. Gabrielle takes her sais out to defend her self and Xena. As Gabrielle and Xena hit and kick the men who are attacking them, the guys see that Xena and Gabrielle are defeating them and start to run in fear. A man who looks homeless is hiding behind a bush while he saw the whole thing. He wore a dirty torn shirt and jeans and looked like he hadn�t been washed in years. The man steps out from behind the bush and walked in front of them. He looked at them from a distance.

�Ucelus dei! The thousand years has ended! The angel from heaven has come!� the man yells to them.

Xena and Gabrielle look at one another with a confused look.

�Who are you?� Xena calls to him.

�A war is about to happen,� the man says to them in a low voice.

�Who are you?� Gabrielle asks the man.

�There will be blood shed and innocents to suffer,� The man replies again.

Xena and Gabrielle walk away. Xena thinks the man is on drugs.

�Let�s go, this guy's crazy, he must be on something,� Xena says to Gabrielle.

Gabrielle agrees and walks away with her.

�The thousand years has ended, a war is going to happen, Xena, your brother is here!� the man shouts again.

Xena and Gabrielle look at one another in shock. They walk near the man.

�Who are you? What are you talking about?� Xena asks as she grabs the man by his shirt.

�It�s your brother. He came down from heaven,� the old man says, �Your other brother Akuma is causing destruction in the name of power. The New Challenger has come down from heaven to prevent him from destroying everything.�

�What are you talking about?� Xena asks still holding the man by his shirt.

�Go to the nearby Church, there�s a priest there who will tell you everything,� the old man says as he points to the church nearby.

Xena lets the old man go and walks away. She and Gabrielle walk down the street to try to find the Church the old man was talking about.

�The thousand years has ended, you don�t know what�s in store for you!� The old man yells out once again as Xena and Gabrielle walk down the street.

Xena and Gabrielle walk a long distance down the street.

�Is this the place?� Xena asks Gabrielle.

�I guess so, it�s the only one here,� Gabrielle replies.

Xena and Gabrielle walk up to the Church. The door swings open after they knock on it a few times. A priest answers it.

�Hello may I help you?� the priest asks.

�We were in a fight before,� Xena explains, �The next thing we know a homeless man tells me my brother is back and that blood was going to be shed.�

The Priest looks outside the doorway for people passing, �Did anyone see you come?� the priest asks.

Xena and Gabrielle look at one another.

�No,� they reply, �Why?�

�Good, we should be safe here, as long as he can�t find us,� the priest replies.

�Who can�t?� Xena asks.

�Maybe now you�re ready to accept the facts,� the priest says.

Xena, Gabrielle, and the priest walk into a dark room where a lady is lying on a table. As the woman prays, she�s speaking in a different language while kneeing in the middle of the bed she�s on with her eyes slightly open.

�What is she doing, why is she doing that?� Xena asks while the woman prays.

�It�s the power of faith,� the priest replies.

�Who is she?� Gabrielle asks.

�She is a messenger of God. She fell into a trance about two weeks ago, and began to speak in a language she couldn�t possibly have known, and began a prophecy about a bloody war,� the priest replies.

�A bloody war?� Gabrielle asks.

�Akuma�s destruction and the unholy reign upon the earth,� the priest replies.

�Why don�t you stop all this religious talk and tell us what�s going on, what�s this all about with my brother coming?� Xena asks impatiently.

�Let me explain,� The priest replies.

The priest walks into a different room with Xena and Gabrielle.

�Do you know anything about the number of The New Challenger? The revelation of his father from his dream?� the priest asks.

�9 0 0 2?� Xena replies.

�The number of The New Challenger is not 9 0 0 2. Numbers usually mean dates in some ways, so 9 0 0 2, becomes 2 0 0 6, like in 2006 the year of his return,� the priest explains.

�How did you know what the number was Xena?� Gabrielle asks.

�I took a guess. I saw things written on the walls inside the cave I was in before. I didn�t know what it meant until now,� Xena replies, �What does this have to do with my brother?� Xena asks the priest.

The priest takes a bible out with Latin words written on the cover. The priest shows the front of the bible and reads, �Regressess deoblei, the return of Satin. Does any of this look familiar to you?� the priest asks.

�A little, but I still don�t know what this has to do with my brother?� Xena replies.

�A few years ago, there was a tournament to become the best Street Fighter. Your older brother, The New Challenger, considered joining it. Akuma, became insanely jealous of him because of the attention he was receiving. Akuma acted like your brother and joined the tournament knowing everyone was anticipating The New Challenger being there,� The priest explains.

�So what am I supposed to do now let him fight me too in order to make himself look good?� Xena asks.

�Find your older brother, he�ll do the rest,� the priest replies.

Xena and Gabrielle walk out of the Church and find a place to stay for the rest of the night and prepare for their journey the next day.
