International Students Enrolling Policy

 

 

  

 POLICY REGARDING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ENROLLING IN THE WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY PROGRAM AT SUNWAY COLLEGE

 

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT STANDARDS

International Students in the Western Michigan University Program at Sunway College Must enroll for at least Three (3) Classes (at least 9 Credit Hours) Each Semester they are in the Program.

 

MINIMUM GRADE POINT AVERAGE

International Students in the Western Michigan University Program at Sunway College Must Maintain a Minimum Grade Point Average and Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0

 

PROBATION     

If the Cumulative Grade Point Average falls below 2.0 then the International Student will be placed on Probation for One Semester.

 

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM

If the Cumulative Grade Point Average Stays Below 2.0 for Two Successive Semesters, then the Renewal of the Student Pass Will Not be Recommended and International Student will be Asked to Withdraw from the Program.

 

This Policy Has Been Developed Jointly By the Resident Director of the Western Michigan University Program at Sunway College and the International Advisors in Student Services and is effective beginning January 2002
