Yesterday I was at Kolkata regarding one marriage party. Shri Daynath Jha,VP,AMP was with me for 4 hours.We discussed:

1. Divisionwise training camps in all 7 divisions of Mithila and one in Nepal each year apart from annual Conference and executive committee meetings.
2. We felt need of full time workers one in each  divisions,for which just retired but healthy Maithils should be approached and they should also communicate us if willing.
3. We should focuss on Munger,Bhagalpur and Santhal Pargana divisions as our result of the last trip-cum-camp was of immense benefit. They should also be followed up from someone amongst us.
4. Our struggle is long and hence, we should not dilute our objectives nor be disheartened by any failure.
5. We should not leave our demand of Mothila State on the basis of language as language is the basis of our culture.
6. We should also not compromise on our linguistic map of Grierson.

 Further we utilized the marriage venue for putting our points to several VIPs of the RSS-VHP,notably Shri Shyamji Gupta,Jt.Gen.Secy.VHP. He was not aware of Vidyapati's contribution to Hindu ethos. With Taijee(Pramilatai) the head of the female wing of the RSS called Rastra sevika Samiti,our discussion was fruitful. Mata Sita's birthday Janaki Navami shopul;d replace International Women's Day was put before her. She asked us the relevant materials. Anyone having significant material can send her by post.:

We suggested we may follow Baishakh Shukla 9 as per Solar Calander which will be 22 April as a fixed date in Gregorian Calender(14th  April is Jur-Sheetal,New year's Day in Mithila as well as whole of Nepal). We need to discuss with eminent persons at our level whenever and whereever possible for such things which is the duty of all Maithils. Incidentally and fortunately, Shri Vidya nath Jha'Vidit' had the reservation in the same compartment and we had an oppurtunity to discuss with him on issues related to Maithili in the proposed Bhasha Academy  by the Jharkhand Govt. as well as Maithili in the JPSC and our work in the Santhal pargana. It is likely in 2-3 days we may get an appointment with the CM of Jharkhand for these points.
