This place has been famous in the world mainly because it is the main chapter of Ramayan. After the Ramayan era this place become famous for its cultural heritage, its learned people, skilled artesian, agricultural fertility, and its village system.
For the holy land of maa Janaki Antarrastriya Maithili Parishad is a Internatinal Organisation established to spread splashes of awareness among its people for the overall development of Maithili, Maithil and Mithila!! Maithili language get respectable place in the VIIIth schedule of constitution of India and this organization was the main whistleblower. Although mithila is well known for its educational system, unique cultural heritage, and the intellectual power of its people although its people have established itself in almost all walks of life and at every places of the globe But a lots of things still to be done. People are leaving there places for the sake of employment, livelihood, education and for better life. Main goal of this organization is to avail the same opportunity within the proximity of Mithila. And key demand is a separate mithila state so that administration of mithila can be handled by its own people. Someone is needed to make the govt. aware of the situation. This organization is working as a flag bearer for the struggle of Maithil people.
