What’s well-being? |
- Well-Being is the combined state of body, mind & consciousness that possesses the following attributes:
- Healthy, fit & well-postured body, free of aches & pains
- Clear, calm & translucent mind, transcendent & humourous
- Uplifting, high-spirited & piercing consciousness, elastic & free

What is the aim? |
- The notion of wellness within the being can be understood as the state of idealized balance between disturbances & serenity within the present volatile existence
- It does not question, assume or ignore the influence of endogeneous sources or the disturbance of exogeneous sources
- As envisioned in Harmonics of Life, Well-being is composed:
- Active Progress:
Reaching, achieving or attaining the state of idealized balance
- Active Maintenance:
Maintaining on the state of idealized balance
- Yet,
- The state of idealized balance is a form of Niche that is unique, but fluctuating simultaneously
- Hence,
- Although others can give guidance,
- Well-being can only reached through structured personal cultivation
- In short,
- The aim of well-being is
- Reach & maintain the state of balance

What is the state of idealized balance? |
- Balance is similar to symbolism used in jurisprudence
- In law courts of Roman influence,
- There is always a carved figure of a woman with the following symbolic characteristics:
- Blindfolded:
justice should be fair & unbiased in its judgement & execution
- Sword on the left hand:
justice should be delivered swiftly & sharply
- Woman, not a man:
miscarriage of justice can be prevented, but not avoided
- Weighting scale on the right hand:
complete justice must consider & weigh all sides
- Hence,
- Balance is the equilibrium between the detriments & the attributes, the push & the pull, the pro’s & the con’s, the disturbances & the capacities, the hardness & the softness, the firmness & the flexibility
- Indeed, it is strange & awkward to go to both extremes of conflicts
- Yet,
- With the understanding of both conflicting sides
- & subsequently,
- Develop insight into the issue of interest through critical thinking & critical balancing
- Balancing can finally be made aware through the surfacing of the thin line of balancing
- Yet,
- The conflicts & their interactions are randomly fluctuating in themselves, as evident in statistics & probability
- Then, it follows that
- The state of idealized balance is the asymptotic tracking of the continuously fluctuating line of balance between the extremes of conflicts

How to reach this state of idealized balance? |
- It should be emphasized that active progress to reach the line of balance is difficult, unique & can only be executed personally
- The following is a suggested chronological process for active progress:
- Develop compassion (feeling observation) through wisdom
- Develop awareness through the trio of cultivated exposure, critical thinking & critical balancing
- Develop niche focus through the pyramid approach & continuous unrelenting ReSearch towards the fluctuating line of balance
- Continuous research has to be conducted to monitor & reach the fluctuating line of balance

How to maintain this state? |
- It has been said that maintaining or retaining success is far more treacherous than reaching success
- To maintain of this fluctuating state of well-being requires:
- Continuity:
continuous identification, monitoring & asymptotic tracking of well-being
- Vigilance:
ever-readiness & alertness to warning & danger signals
- Support:
whether internal or external reinforcement in times of need or misdirection or imbalance
- Understanding:
of the periodicity amidst the aperiodicity of natural phenomena
- We need to understand that the well-being is nothing but balance
- If the fundamentals of balancing are lost, well-being would also lost its roots
- This can be very taxing & perilous, however
- We do not have much choices, ceteris paribus perceptual resistance
