John 14:2 (Castle in the Sky)

Materials:
12 x 18 construction paper
Pictures of castles
Sample pastel / crayon castle picture.
Texture boards : bought or hand made with white glue
Crayons - some with sides pealed
Sample Sheet of Architectural features
Optional media: drawing with Chalk pastels
Or Watercolor finished picture.
Objectives: Math Integration: Use of shapes in creating
Architecture features
Art Activity:
1. Using scratch Paper, draw an example of a castle using
the sample
picture .
2. When the students get the idea, Then repeat with Marker
pens on construction
paper.
3. Using texture boards, create patterns with the crayons
and color the
Castle, sky, etc.

learned and creating an
artist expression
#3 Spiritual : John 14:2-3. " In My Father's house
