Mamoru is backstage at Mayumi Osaka's jewellery show when he first meets Usagi. He's rude to her, insulting her looks (he says no one could ever think she was one of the models in the fashion show), and instantly the two dislike each other - but how long will it stay that way?

Mamoru is looking for the legendary Silver Crystal, and he has become a jewellery thief in order to find it. His secret identity is Tuxedo Mask, who (as I'm sure you are aware) wears a tuxedo and a mask. Tuxedo Mask's nemesis is Sailor V. However, Tuxedo Mask also saves Sailor Moon from an attack in the first episode - and not knowing that he's really Mamoru (or that he's a thief and is looking for the same crystal as her), she thinks he's kind of cool. Does he have feelings for her as well?
