High Court overturns council ban on veal flights
Christopher Barret Jolley went to the High Court in London, in his appeal against the council ban on veal flights. He succeeded in overturning the ban and upto 5 flights per day began to export baby calves to Europe!

Flights were going out Monday to Friday and demonstrators were always there to greet the lorries as they arrived full of innocent animals. Protesters were there from early morning until after dark and sometimes through the night. Warwickshire Police estimated that protests were costing the force �30,000 a day!!
