The Librarian

The Librarian of the Unseen University was originally a human being, but due to a magical accident involving a magic book he turned into an orangutan. Since then he refuses to let anybody turn him back. He found that orangutan shape is much more suited to handling the magical books in the library, which can be very dangerous. He is very touchy about being called anything but an ape, and is strong enough to make sure things go his way. Despite the fact that he can twist someone�s head off easily, he really is a gentle creature, usually. He is also an unofficial member of the City Watch.
