Welcome, everyone! It's only taken me close to three months, but I have finally updated this site with tons of Maggie pictures. I think I've got a pretty good excuse for working so slow, though. :) I'm not going to have the time to keep an online journal as I did when I was pregnant. However, I will add new photos each month, which hopefully will do close to the same thing, but in a much more abbreviated form. Of course, if you ever read my journal, I'm sure you're rolling your eyes at the thought that I could ever do anything in "abbreviated" form. :)
If you've checked in here lately, you know that I've actually had Maggie's birth story up for quite some time. However, I have now also added an extensive collection of pictures from the first few months of her life. I've created an index page that breaks them up into categories, which will hopefully help them load faster for those of you on dial-up connections. Finally, there is one short page that gives the story (and the pronunciation!) behind her name.
Although I did delete a couple of pages relating to my pregnancy, most of it remains. You can still find ultrasound pictures, belly pics, and photos of Maggie's nursery (these are all also listed on the photo index page), as well as my pregnancy journal, my Is This Labor? ravings, from the final, obssesed days of my pregnancy, and a recording of Maggie's in utero heartbeat from June 3, 2002.
Finally, be sure to check out our Yahoo! photo sites (irishmonk and momofmaggie2002) for pictures from our Dec. 2001/Jan. 2002 trip to Ireland (only at the irishmonk site), as well as orderable versions of some of the photos on this site. We won't be adding any new Maggie picturess to those sites, though, because they fill up too quickly. For similar reasons, I do not have full-sized images on this site, either - I'd run out of space far too quickly if I did. But if you see a photo that you would really like to have a print made from, drop me an e-mail and I can send you the full-size image.
