Terry's Photo Gallery!

It has been my great pleasure over the years to have met some very interesting people. This page is a selection of some of those people;

On November 9th., 2005, Chris De Burgh played at Mile One Stadium, and I had the chance to meet him before the show. He signed some CD's for an on air giveaway, plus he signed my original play copy of his 1975 album "Spanish Train and Other Stories". Chris is a gentleman of the highest degree, it was a pleasure to meet him.

In May of 2005, I had the pleasure to meet all three member's of Klaatu. Their landmark albums like 3:47 Eastern Standard Time, Hope and Sir Army Suit were among some of the best of their day!

John Kay has been a guest on the Songwriters twice, once with Steppenwolf and once to promote his solo CD Heretic's and Privateers. When he was in St. Johns (Summer 2000), I had the pleasure of taking him and his manager on a short tour of the city.

During a trip to Pittsfield, Mass. in 1999, I had the honor of spending an hour visiting with folk legend Arlo Guthrie, at his cafe, The Arlozone, sharing a few stories over a cup of coffee and a couple of healthy home baked goods.

Two of the greatest guys in Canadian Music, Brian Smith (L) and Ra Maguire (R) of Trooper. This pic was taken at the Gander Airport in 2000, just before their show at Bishops Falls... one of the Best Parties I have ever attended!

I met with Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo when they were touring for the album "The Days In Between in 2004. He has also been a guest on The Songwriters twice.

in 2004 I spent a few weeks as the official ring announcer for a professional wrestling troop. While involved with the C.E.W., I had the chance to meet Former WWF World Tag Team Champion, and Fellow Newfoundlander, Sailor White. We were all saddened at his passing in the summer of 2005. The Sailor was an interesting and unique personality.

(Bluesfest 2006)
Born & Raised in Alberta, Corb Lund is one of Canada's most unique singer/songwriters. His wry wit, lyrical strength, and onstage talent have him marked for greater things!

(Bluesfest 2006)
At 16, Jimmy Bowskill has the kind of talent that people three times his age can only wish for! He is an incredible performer, and a great person. His respect for the art, and the artists, is fantastic!

(Toronto 2006)
OK... I know it looks like a Police Lineup... but actually, it is a photo taken in the legendary 'Silver Dollar Room' in Toronto. L - R it's Craig, Matt Smith, Doc McLean, Brain Blain and yours truely.

(Bluesfest 2006)
Hangin' out back stage with Walter Trout & the Radicals! Beside being one of the worlds Great Guitarists, Walter is a gentleman of the highest caliber! It was a pleasure and honor to interview him!

(Bluesfest 2006)
This had to be the Highlight of the 2006 Bluesfest for me. Meeting Solomon Burk was Awsome! He is one of the Greatest Live Performers I have ever had the honor and pleasure to witness... and one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met!

(Bluesfest 2005)
There were several highlights for me at the Ottawa Bluesfest in 2005. One of which was the chance to sit down with Kent (Omar) Dykes, of Omar & The Howlers. He is one of the most talented people you would ever want to meet, and a true gentleman. Rock On Omar!

(Bluesfest 2005)
It was an unbelievable experience to see Magic Slim and John Primer perform live, and an absolute honor to meet them. It was a thrill to be swapping stories and jokes with these 2 legends of the blues!

(Bluesfest 2005)
Brian McPhilips (AKA Capital B) is a hard working blues artist from Ottawa. He started performing at the age of 17, and quit at 25. After a 20 year absence, he came back, and is now rocking our nations capital with some great original blues.

In 2002, I had the honor of attending the CD release for Kenny 'Blues Boss' Wayne's "88th and Jump Street". A few weeks later, Kenny and I met up again, at the Ottawa Bluesfest, where this picture was taken. (Oh My God! Look at the hair!)

(Bluesfest 2002)
Kenny Blue Ray is a fine blues guitarist in his own right, and at one point in time, lived next door to Blues Legend, John Lee Hooker. I meet Kenny in 2002, and shared some stories of the road.

(Bluesfest 2002)
A fellow campus DJ, and a great guy, Jed "Rocket" Rached is the lead singer of Rocket Rached & the Fat City Eight, a blues band with a super phat sound. He's also one of the finest sound technicians in the Capitalregion!
