Uploading the Calendar
To upload the updated calendar pdf file:
1. Go to http://geocities.yahoo.com/ (New Web Page Opens)
2. Click on Sign In (New Web Page Opens)
3. Insert the Yahoo ID and Password
4. Click on Sign In (New Web Page Opens)
5. Click on the Manage tab (New Web Page Opens)
6.Click on File Manager in the "File Management Tools" box
(New Web Page Opens)
7. Click on Open File Manager (New Web Page Opens)
This opens the page that allows you to upload,
delete or add files to the QBW website.
You will need to upload two files:
The updated Calendar in pdf format, and
The updated calendar.html file which has the updated link to the
Calendar pdf file.
After doing 1 to 7 above
Click on the calendar folder (New Web Page Opens)
Click on Upload files which is below and to the right of the window pane showing the files in the folder (New Web Page Opens)
Click on Browse (Choose file dialogue box pops up)
Navigate to the updated calendar on your computer, highlight it
and click Open (Dialogue box disappears)
Click on Upload Files (New Web Page Opens)
Page should show that file has been successfully uploaded.
Click on File Manager (New Web Page Opens)
This will bring you back to the calendar subfolder. If you cannot see the pdf files in the folder, click on
Refresh File Manager
Now you need to change the calendar.html file so that it is hyperlinked to the updated calendar pdf file
Click on Up one level (New Web Page Opens)
Now you can either directly edit the calendar.html file using Geocities or upload the updated calendar.html file from your computer.
