The idea really first came to me while reading a RebelPilot issue. I'm not exactly sure how the line of thought went, but basically I thought, if a twisted ol' Australian can do it, I sure can. Well, I came up with the idea for an e-mailing list, based on RebelPilot, from the point of view of The Empire. I contacted RebelPilot, and he sort of talked me through getting started, and left me some time to plan out my first couple issues. I just started typing the first issue, not at all sure of how I wanted the layout. The rest, as they say, is history.
You'll usually receive issues once a week, on Monday. During the summer(northern hemisphere) I'm usually busy. Don't expect very many new issues. If you have an idea for what I can do, send me an e-mail, or mosy on over to the Reviews page and send me an idea from there, if you're too lazy to open up your e-mail account. I did "Special Editions" one summer that came out once a month, and were tied together into a story. I'm thinking of doing that again next summer. Also during the spring I may not be able to send out an issue or two. I'll try to get ahead, but as of yet I'm not organized enough to do that.
To sign up, you must send a BLANK e-mail to [email protected], NOT [email protected]. That's the address you use to contact me. But anyway, if you still have troubles with sending an e-mail to [email protected], then you can contact me at [email protected], and I can manually subscribe you. If for some reason that still doesn't work. Too bad, I guess you won't be recieving any issues from me, and you'll miss out on all the humor. Although I don't think any of that will fail.
Ah, where to begin. RebelPilot, my intellectual equal on the Rebel side, is a very weird little Aussie. Although coming from ME, that's... Anyway. He has an E-Zine, with a few more readers than I have, and his list includes ASCII art, jokes in separate sections, not spread throughout like mine, bloopers, and cool scenes called blink-and-you'll-miss-it-moments, and he numbers his issues in Roman Numerals. He does have a good list that even an honest Imperial, such as yourself would enjoy. Even I subscribe to it... But don't tell anyone I said that!
